It is mainly used in iron and steel smelting, cast iron casting, free‑cutting steel production, and machinable steel materials:
Smelting of free‑cutting steel (primary application)
Applicable steel grades: Y12, Y15, Y20, Y40Mn, 1215, 1144 and other free‑cutting structural steels
