3. Non-metallic elements: When iron sulfide comes into contact with non-metallic elements (such as chlorine, bromine, and iodine), it also produces toxic gases, which are harmful to both humans and the environment.
4. High temperatures: Iron sulfide decomposes easily at high temperatures, releasing toxic gases and potentially causing explosions and other adverse consequences.
